glowshift gauges

I would like to install an A-pillar dual gauge pod from Glowshift with a tach and voltage. It must be gettin late cuz i could of sworn i read somewheres that the glowshift gauges can be set to a 2 cylinder mode and therefore will work with the 2.2L however now I read that the lowest setting is 3 cylinder, which warrants a tach adapter UGH!!! Well, the cheap teenager in me wants to settle for an adapter such as http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUN-CP7558/ or http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-850511/ Would either of these work for what I'm trying to do??? If so, where would be a good place to install it???
Some might ask what's the need of a tach in an automatic slower-than-mollasses Cav but I miss not having one and I think it could help me take better care of my car and get better gas mileage.
Besides, I think it looks sort of cool--once again, the teenager in me

I must agree... there is NO reason to put a Tach on your A Pillar...
my 02 has the tach in the cluster as all new models do... and i use the tach as much as if not more than the speedometer for driving (my cars a 5sp)
it would be ridiculous and out of place on the A Pillar and i could not see it easily without taking my eyes off the road. thats a safety issue we are discussing now.
go with Furious 2.2's advice and swap clusters kido.
im rockin some Glowshift gauges... i like them.

I think MadJack is using a Sunpro adapter so they should work but I've only dealt with Autometer and Rksport as mentioned in the thread above. As far as mounting, you can put it on the firewall or ziptie it under the dash like I did.

Well.......
If I swap in a '95-'99 cluster that has a tach, won't there be some kind of issue with the mileage??? If so, wouldn't I have some issues when I try to sell it??? For a '95, my car is actually pretty low mileage at only 98,000 miles. So if I swap in a high mileage cluster that has, say, 175,000 miles won't I have some trouble explaining that it actually has way less than that???

I believe only another '95 cluster will work in yours since it was the transition year between second and third gen. I swapped odometers when I put a '97 Z24 cluster in mine and it was pretty easy...
