I think the power window switch for my 1999 Pontiac Sunfire GT Coupe went out on friday and now I cannot roll my window up on the driver's side (and it has been raining a lot in the last couple of days.) I tried replacing the power window switch with one from my local junkyard, but they gave me the wrong one. I can get one Monday from another junkyard, but in the meantime i was wondering if anyone knows which cables i can 'jump' to make it so it goes up. I saw a post on this forum about it, but it doesn't say exactly which wires are what (on my harness they aren't labeled.) does anyone know or have any pictures that would show it? thanks!!!!
sure your motor is'nt dead? i've had 3 of 4 of my original motors die. i replaced 2 then said @!#$ the back passengers.
window regulators in these cars are @!#$. i carry a small ball peen hammer and a screwdriver to pop out my door panel and tap the motor when it won't go up
