Hi, I'm very new at writing topics, normally just read them. However, I need help with my Dash Bezel on my Cavalier 00. When taking off the dash it seems that the bezel loves to break and crack everywhere. I was wondering if there was anyway to fix the Bezel with any epoxy or putty to fill in the cracks and broken pieces or if I should just buy a new bezel? Thanks

Just grab a new bezel without broken tabs. They are easy to install and can be picked up very cheap.

cuz i have a 99 version that has a few bad spots on it and the middle vent pops out occationally but its only minor

Where are you pulling at that it's breaking?

Mine's 12 years old and doesn't break when I take it off...

It seems to break when I'm removing it from behind the steering wheel. It has broken in 3 places there and it has broken right above the cigarette lighter socket. also its a 2000 model.

oh ok then no mine wouldnt work cuz they moved the radio up on the 00+ soo srry

what id do if you dont wanna look for one is renforce it from the back side with a extra peice to keep from breaking later. sand down the whole thing smooth fix the cracks and paint to match car.

what would I reinforce it with?
