Sorry if this is posted somewhere. I looked around alot and didnt really find much saying what you can use and what you cant. Sometimes I wonder where people find out what you can and cant do.
What toyota stuff are people using on J-Body's and why? Im sure its just a cosmetic thing, but just curious as to why people use it.
I've seen toyota tails talked about, and trunk carpet, and a TRD body kit....

Toyota Cavalier parts, yes, they made a Toyota Cavalier.
Mirrors, taillights, trunk carpet, fenders.... among other things
Hell, some people even have the RHD conversion.

Still not low enough for a signature.
Gm made cavaliers and sent them to japan for toyota, toyota rebadged them as a toyota cavalier, and they got some exclusive parts.
Now that is pretty cool. Learn new stuff on here everyday. Thanks guys

All Toyota cavaliers were made at the Lordstown Ohio plant.
All Toyota badges are actually GM part numbers.

Yup I have just about all the toyota cavalier parts except the rhd firewall and the mirrors. Not going to do the rhd conversion and I have apr carbon mirrors I like over the toyo mirrors I do like how the fold in though thats kinda pimp. I love my 95-99 tails. the flared fenders they have amber turn signals also in them, and the trunk carpet, make a u.s cavalier unique I had a hell of a 5 years tracking down alot of the parts though. I have all of the part #'s for all the toyo stuff you can order through gm here so let me know if you need to find some stuff.
Trunk carpet please! Part # that is. Im gonna try to find some, but maybe ill but it if its not too much.
95 Ranger 2.5T
Part # 22657896 Trunk lid carpet.
I need the part # for this rear tow hook I've seen so if anyone has that, it would be sweet.
Word on the street is they got a nifty tow hook and an internal antenna as well
yea I know I the tow hook is in the rear I want it but dont have the part # for it damnit
i actually wnt to tech school in Lordstown Ohio.. less than 2 minutes up the road from the plant. GM donated a bunch of cavis to the program and one of them happened to be a right hand drive toyota cavalier. i got to drive it around too! ..didnt have any brakes tho from the classes before me tearin s**t appart.. had to use the handbrake. deff a blast to drive tho!
..and on a side note, the road that takes you back to the GM plant is awesome to take a ride down. a few nice sweeping turns fallowed by about a 3/4 mile striaght-a-way in fron of the plant, then another couple quick turns to bring you back up to the main road.. deffinately a speed course for sure!!

Thats cool yea I went to that plant in Lordstown 2005 for the j-bash car show and we had a drag day at a track the day before, in some small town like an hr. and a half away from the plant also had a good time. The plant is huge too
thing that still bugs me is we never got the read seat but the export cars did

I'm thinking he meant
rear seat...
oh yea how the rear seat has an armrest built into it, yea oh well who cares
Toyota cavalier eyelids and Corner lights i just think they look a bit nicer :]
I drive a 1998 Toyota Cavalier over here in New Zealand.
The interior is o.k. However...
- missing strap on back seat to fold down rear seats
- Front seats are too small (i'm 6'4")
- It is nice having the hidden aerial, however sometimes reception can be a little lackluster
I do really like how you can just press a button and the mirrors fold themselves in, I never use it but its pretty cool
I did also find that the ash tray was the perfec size for holding my headunits remote
