yeah that is what i wanna know if they are electric or not. I dont wanna run that crap into my cabin if they are mechanical. I love the look of the gauges on the pillar but honestly i dont know what I would put in my car cause it is stock and going to stay that way for a year or too. I do have a full exhause h/i/e. but that is pretty much it. I could do a volt meter but what else could i put in there that would be worth it?
Jim
Volt, water temp, transmission temp, and oil pressure, are my first choices.
Might as well know whats going on as it happens, and can be a good tool to figuring out where something may go wrong before larger symtoms occur.

Old pics, mine arent in the bracket anymore, and are inside the dash instead.
More pics to be released as i have time to take them.
I love how the gauges seem to glow even with no power going to them.

those are mechanical right?....if so then mine are electric
iequss guages are mechanical. to keep the oil pressure form leaking in my car i ran the clear tube that they give you inside of a thicker nylon re edforced tude. that elimenated the chances of a hole wearing into the oil line as it runs throught the firewall.
sorry you can see my dam neon tube fell, surprisingly that shot was taken at like 11:30 pm,
