^^^^^yeah and also ..... i guess airbags are out of the question huh????
"Official Jewish J-Body"
That looks hot man.....was thinkin about doin that for Nav in my Sunfire
There's no place like 127.0.0.1
I think the bonod will crack in no time... thats just my opinion but if it doesnt then its a nice job.
Might wanna keep this on the down low. Pimp my ride got fined huge for doing this to a car. Apparently it's illegal to remove an airbag without notifying the DOT.
well also, i dont know about other states, but the tv isnt supposed to be in the drivers view. im not sure though. looks badazz

its nice but should only be done to show cars. Your so @!#$ if a cop pulls you over... lol

You should design a cover you can quickly pop on top of it
wont pass inspection unless you know someone
not into it, props on the work though
Looks really good. Came out nice and clean. I just hope you didn't deploy your airbag to put that thing in.
post some pics when you install it. It looks great
Turned out sweet, Herman. I wanna see that installed!

I took this steering wheel out of my project '95 cavalier. I have a racing style steering wheel in my 99, but I am thinking of putting this one back in my car. Oh and I did take out the airbag.
nice job....reminds me of what i have to look forward to this winter. i have had mine in like that for 2 yrs now and love it everytime i get into the car. if you find a better way to wire it then just hanging the wires so when you park you can connect them then let me know cuz thats how mine are set-up. the power and video hang out of the steering wheel and the other power and rca hang out of the steering column cover but when im parked you cant tell one bit.
as for the inspection thing....mine passed with flying colors..maybe cuz it was 2 older dudes and they loved the car but i passed with no airbags and the light flashing.

now how do you plan on steering?...no the bondo will not crack if it's done right
He probably plans to steer the same way he has been so far. By turning the steering wheel. Thats just the center section of the wheel.
Im curious about the wiring too. How can you wire it so that the wires dont wrap around the wheel everytime you turn it? Do you have some sort of special modified clockspring?
I'm going to try and wire it through the steering column as GM did with the horn and air bag cords.
