I have just finished glassing the inside of my ride, here's the problem, I painted with a HVLP gun for the base color, waited 2 days then sprayed the clear coat for this I used a rattle can, same brand of pain Duplicolor, it seems the clear dissolved the base coat, and when through to the primer any suggestions?
Use automotive clearcoat next time to clear the peices you painted. You did everything else with HVLP why not finish it off the same way.

what types of paints did you actually use? laquer will eat up enamels. probably the brands weren't compatible.
That was the problem the two paints were different I noticed that as I was cleaning up for the day.
