A few questions on changing the power options on my 96 over to my new 03.

1. Will it even cross over?

2. Is it direct plug and play?

3. Are all the clips to plug into the keyless and everything in the cars that didnt come factory equipped?

4. Better to change door panels, mirror covers, and electronics, or just to change complete doors?

5. The cup for change in the center console comes out, so in the 03s with power is it just another piece that clips in or does the whole top of the console have to be changed?

6. Will I still be able to keep my electric button under the dash hooked up when i hook the trunk into the keyless box? The 96 just has a pull lever for interior trunk opening.

7. Are there any other issues that I havent thought of that my cause me trouble?

Any help in this will be greatly appreciated. Sorry if this belongs in electronics.

I dont think the whole console needs to be changed... my friend had a 2000 without power windows and the change thing or whatever in the middle is the same size and diameter as the one in my car with power windows. Check it out first, I think it should work

00+ are different consoles VS the 95-99 ones, for the 00+ you can just remove the little change holder, and pop in the pwr window switches and trim plate. with the 95-99 cavys there is a complete cover that goes around the shifter (auto or manual) and the one for pwr windows is different on the cavys, sunfires just pop out, and u pop in the switches, the cavy one is expensive bran new too....
