I am tore between two things i want to do to my headliner. I either want to do a white vinyl or a zebra print what do you guys think????
i think white vinyl would be better than zebra print
Do it in black tweed!

Fiberglass if your going for the show look....I,ve seen it done to a few cars and it looks smooth as hell....not to mention how sick it looks.
But for daily driving and for an easier solution.....i would suggest White Vinyl......But i personally don't think zebra would look that bad.....it would certainly be different...
I have actually seen Long haired fur be used as headliner material......and anything is bettter then that look....lol

well my interior is black and white right now the bottom half of my dash , doors and center councel are black. Thats why i was thinking about doing the zebra print on the headliner and the doors. I also thought it would be unique, its hard being unique when you have seen what you guys are doin on the org. Keep the opinions coming i appreciate it
im partial to fleece. i just redid the headliner of my sunbird in bright red fleece and i love it. i would do white or black fleece, everything depends on your own personall taste.
I say stick with one color. I think a two toned headliner wouldn't look to great..
I'd like to see a "mirror" finish headliner, using some kind of thin shiny aluminum maybe.. that'd be original lol
HA! funny you should say that cause i think i'm gonna do the headliner on my sunroof in a mirror finish! The rest black, figured it would look good.
CHAD
That might look good on the sun roof.. but could you imagine the whole headliner being a mirror finish? That'd look very nice IMO.. ideas cooking now lol
white vinyl, if youre doing it yourself hit me up with an IM or an email, i have some real helpful tips with working with vinyl or just general stuff with recovering the headliner
What type of spray adhesive did you guys use? I used 3m super 77 and I'm not that impressed with it. It seems like the vinyal is lifting in some places, not a ton but enough to make a bit of a wrinkle.

use 3M 76 Hi tack rubber and vinyl, and apply it to both surfaces, wait 5 mins, and goodluck, it worked on half my headliner..
im getting mine professionally done now, ive dicked with it too much, its hard to find the right shiznit, but 76 works best in my journey
use 3m 99 but there is kinda a trick to it, you have to spray on a few layers and in between lay it down and then pull em apart, it makes it REALLY tacky after pulling it off like 5 times
mine used to sang, now its CEMENTED up there, im real happy with it
wrap it with.....ummmm....... mink lol
Thanks, I'll try the 76 high tack.
I didn't really have any problems wrapping it at all... The heat gun definitely helped. It's just that when I was done it looked awesome, but the next day it was obvious that I didn't use the right adhesive. Thats when the wrinkles started to show.

Vinyl headliner, or a CF wrap.
Fact 1:

true.
ya use 3m 76 hi tack or 3m 99 like the guy said ^^^^
