Hey guys...
I know there was someone on here that was currently working on a project to make their cavalier a right-hand driver, but I couldn't find any information on it when I did a search.
What all do I need to do if I wanna do this? Are there any pictures around here of some nice transformations? Please let me know, I'm highly considering taking on this huge challenge
Thanks.

There are pics in a post that was made not too long ago of the in-progress. I don't remember the post, but it's here somewhere.
Brakes? I don't need no stinking brakes....I have air bags

03CavFire is his user name...awesome car. hope that helps.
I wouldn't think that it would be legal to do it in North America... maybe check into that first.
That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks guys
Now...how do you go about doing this? lol

Yeah, I just think it's interesting. It's a nice feature and mod to add on to your car
A lot of work...but it's nice...

To be honest.... If you have to ask "how" to do it, you probably don't want to even touch it. You'll just get into trouble if you don't know what you're doing.

^ yep. If you can't see how to do it, you should probably steer clear...
Here's a hint though - at the very least, you're going to need a second car (not just any second car - a Toyota Cav) and a welder. This project is much more complex and expensive than it appears.

Just to let you know about this a little more then you might not know about the swap. All the things that Josh (03 Cav Fire) is using for this swap was bought from someone who bought a Toyota Cavalier and has shipped over. Bad news was it was cut in half at the dock, but was going to be used for RHD anyways. After you price the new subframe and the shiping cost. I don't think you will want to do it anymore.
Oh well. Just an interesting idea.

It IS an interesting idea. But it is just as expensive, time consuming and downright hard to do as they say. To be honest, I'd have been done a month ago if I wasn't still waiting on certain parts, but to be done in time for the majority of the '05 show season is ok with me
As far as legal, there are a number of street legal right hand drive cars in the US. If I'm not mistaken, the majority of the issue with imported cars is emissions... And this is mostly a show car anyway, it'll barely get driven. (If you believe that, I have ocean-front property in Ohio to sell you!) But seriously, my only issue that I still have to iron out is being legal without airbags... I already have insurance that is ok with it, it's the DOT that I'm worried about... lol

Don't tell me that. I'm a mortgage broker, so you'll get me all excited if I can sell fictitious property to you AND do the financing
