ok i have my interior out now so i can finish up the customizing work. But i love how quick the car is with only the front two seats in it and i was wondering if anyone made a lightweight interior. Or light weight pieces?
Go minimallistic. One seat, no floor matts, half a stearing wheel....hell just scrap the ac and heating.
But seriouly if that light ass back seat has that much impact on the performance of your car then wow, I dunno. Asuuming we're talking about the 2 door coupe...that thing is cheap and not exactly heavy.
yeah i know it doesnt seem like it but its just a noticable diffrence and i was just wondering if anyone made like carbon fiber pieces?
carbon fiber seats wouldnt be very coumfy
leave the seats, remove ac/heat, remove passenger seat, remove any stereo system you might have going, and go on a diet
thats the best way to shed some lbs
that amazing that you could actually tell that your car is faster considering it takes 100 pounds of weight loss just to go 1/10 of a second faster in the quarter mile. i think you just think its faster because its allot louder wich makes you think its faster. not trying to down on you or anything, just letting u know its really not much faster at all. i mean in reality the horsepower gain from taking out your interior would be about the same as the horsepower u get from running your car with 1 gallon of gas versus 12 gallons of gas. running on 1 gallon versus 11 gallons is a weight diffrence of around 85 lbs. about the same as your interior pieces if u weighted them out.

i swear that with my loudass new muffler i'm going way faster too...
yeah i guess you guys are right cause it just seemed like i had better acceleration with it out but i guess it was just the sound cause it seems faster when my windows are down to.
One more way to lose weight from the interior. Go on a diet.
Gotta keep on livin', L-I-V-I-N
