has anyone ever atempted to convert to a 2+2 seating im drawing up some ideas so far ive decided to fiberglass a center consel all the way back with (posibly is cash flow) a screen and of course cup holders give me some feed back on it and ill keep you guess posted on progress
i'm in the same boat as you... i'm going through the sketch phase as well. But i'm going to keep the space between the seats open..... snowboard
For the seats what were you thinking of doing? i was either going to look for some cars that already have a 2+2 seating and mod the rears.... that or i'm going to make them from scratch... fiberglass and foam.

good to hear others are working the same i was looking a the 300zx back seats taking measurments and seeing if fitment will work. good luck to you too man and keep me posted
Stock coupe front seats, so I have the seatbelt holder - puts the belt in a nice spot. Brackets are custom, as you can see. Those are going to be painted flat black sometime. Working on a stock cavi console now to fit between them - I'll probably just glass it up to match the front console.

Like that idea... i'm putting in my old MX-3 seats in the front.... i think i'll find another pair for the back... they are smaller and more "bucket" like.

awesome its cool to see like minded j-body owners i cant wait to get my project started now im going to rip back seat out today and start prep for it im still looking for the seats though cant wait to get this done i think its going to look awesome and i want to see how all of you are progressing too.
this is exactly what im doing. im glassing a cavi console all the way to the rear with a tv in it, and i have these for seats. i just dont know how im gonna attach the seats in the rear yet.

I'm planning to get some sportier seats in the front and moving my stock fronts to the back. Then i was gonna mount an amp between the seats in the rear. I dont really know how much room there will be bewteen the seats, but i think it should be enough.
hey eazy arent you going to have to mod those seats quite a bit to fit in back just wondering?
