OK for some reason the icons at the far right of my HVAC panel are dimmer than before. Hopefully I just have a burnt bulb.
I assume that I will need the type 74 bulbs, as found by Searching the forum.
However, how do I install them? Someone had mentioned breaking them during the install and I wanted to know if there were any tricks to it. I realize I will have to pull the face from the gauge to get to them...
Any special wiring needed or do the type 74's just plug in?
Is it normal for a car that is less than 2 years old to burn out bulbs like this?
Seems like every single time I make some progress on the Cav, I have to fix something that sets me back again!
I am turning on the "Raptor" signal...((((RAPTOR)))

I was just on superbrightleds.com and could not locate anything called "type 74", etc.
Can someone link me to a page where I can buy them?
Thanks!

I'm using my last post of the month on this. I posted 41 while still premium, those soooooooo shouldn't count against me when it expires! Oh well.
Here's a link to their spec page:

Here's a link to the page you can order off of:
http://www.superbrightleds.com/1157.htm (do a search for "Instrument Cluster").
However, I would suggest going with two standard 5mm LEDs with resistors. I found the #74 bulbs/sockets to be a massive pain in the ass, so I just clipped them off and wired in LEDs...
I would definitely say your bulb on the right went out, but the only way to verify that is to take off the dash top and look at the bulb. No, it's not exactly normal for a two year old car to burn THOSE bulbs. They seem pretty sturdy.
