You cant link pictures from your email.........try going to image shack and hosting htem there.......
ok after alittle playing around i think i got it, i was using a website to host my pics but i dont have frontpage installed at the moment so my only other idea was to try image shack, which i think works, shows up on my screen anyway
. this is the rough pictures, its one layer of fleece and a layer of chopped mat over it, and about 20 mins of shaping work to smooth out the bumps and dips from the chopped mat with some good sand paper. i'll post some primered pics as soon as i get to that point, right now i'm filling some dips, opening up the hole for the hazard light switch and alittle more shaping work, probably a couple hours worth the work once i get the glass all laid in anywho let me know what you guys think so far.

what is it?
<img src="http://registry.gmenthusiast.com/images/mishkafan/personal_pic.jpg">
its the upper column cover with a gauge cup molded onto it, see the slots for the wiper and turn signals? like i said its still rough in the pics.
J~
Well i hope you can see your normal gauges with it in the way. But not bad.
Fact 1:
“Facts are meaningless. You could use facts to prove anything that’s even remotely
true.
When you get it sanded and painted it's gonna look perfect. Great job.
ya, it looks like it will block your regular gauges, but good work.

i had that same idea that looks great good work.
I checked and rechecked when i built this peice, the only thing its gonna block at all is the bottom of the speedo, so unless i'm doin 90+ i can still see it just fine, the angle worked out just perfect. i'm hopin to get back to the shop this weekend and get some more done with it, thanks for the comments, if you guys are really nice i might show you my little trick to keep this from every coming loose

that looks great man. a dual pod would look even better! cant wait to see it installed
<img src="http://www.tabascoracing.com/images/splash_01.jpg"><a href="http://www.tabascoracing.com">
I cant wait to have it in either, only problem is i built it for a 2 5/8 inch tach, i could probably get a 3 3/8 its pretty big and angled back a tad so i dont think clearance will ever be an issue, i just cant find a tach that will fit now, i was going to use defi link gauges because they had a tach that i liked and the green back lighting would of been a nice contrast with my blue i think anyway, that or their bl series but they dont make tachs in that series in those sizes. If anyone knows where i can find tachs in the 2 1/16th to 2 5/8s let me know some links
thanks in advance
J~
no, i have the crappy shift lite thats getting ready to find an untimely end with a soldering iron, i found an ultralite tach in 2 5/8s that would fit the bill nicely i think, now i'll have to come up with somethin cool for the pod, nice paint job or somethin lol, now all i have to do is make the tach glow blue so it matches everything else in my car. thanks for the link msd.

that looks sweet man, I like the custom stuff youcan't buy..
My Sunfire
thats looks pretty sweet man, i actually saw that posted awhile back, kind of inspired my little project, i'm curious how you created that one, it looks like you to a pillar pod, chopped it and glued/epoxied it in place, especially since it has the same skin look as the rest of the peice, looks factory. totally sick peice man, i got mine sanded down, holes opened up for the wires from the gauge and the hazard switch to come thru, got it mounted back in the car, 2 small issues i can see right now 1 is i added about a 1/4 of material to this peice so it rubs the panel on the way back in but once its in its just fine, and 2 i finish sanded the edges down thinner and worked everything so that you cant tell the difference in thickness, its all flowed and smoothed out very very nicely i'm dieing to get some primer on it and fill it. I noticed after i put it back in that the steering wheel is kind of angled away from this peice so when i turn the wheel i've got a TON of room there for any size gauge i really feel like using, should be great once i settle on a tach size and design i like.

When you get it painted and in the car, I want some pics.
thanks man . i take 8 hour to do it its long, how many time for your pop ,dont stop that cya
