im looking to dye the vynal dash pad of my car silver to match the rest of my car. Now i was wondeering if i have to sand it or can i get away with just cleaning it very well and spraying over the dash that way..i have a spare dash pad if i mes up and if not i want to glass it...Im just doing this for temp but i want tit to last a bit....after it is dyed what o you use to clean it also and will it come off easy???..thanks alot..phil

Also the type of vynal dye im looing to get is duplicolor...they have the perfect color for me....anyone have any expereince with these?..phil

DO NOT SAND THE NINYL. just clean it real good with alcohol, and paint. i think most use either Duplicolor, or SEM?
