Anyone know how do this effectively? I've tried an adhesive, but it didn't hold. I'm trying ot attach the bottom plastic piece to the top vinyl piece.

Liquid nail. When I reattached my center section to the top half of my door panels thats what I used. It is the clear version. It comes out white and over the next week or so starts to clear out. You can pick up at Lowes, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, etc. for around $2 someting usd. The best thing about it is its incredibly strong once it adheres, but if you have to take them apart again its not too break apart and then remove and reapply.
When you reattach it make sure you have something holding it in place and give it around a day to really dry and set.
Make sure you when you get it you look for the ones that are ok to be used with plastics. I know some are not recommended for adhering them.

I couldn't find any at Home Depot here, but I'm in Canda... maybe it's a US only product? I have it all clamped up and everything when I did it, and let it set for over 24 hours.... I removed the clamps and glued/clamped the other side, then when I went to pick it up, it came apart. After looking at it more, I notice that it's still tacky.... so I'll leave it sit a bit longer this time, but I'm hoping there's a better way. I'll check again for liquid nail.... that's the official name?
