Basically just going for the clean look. Im going to be putting a flip out right above my cd-player where the hvac is and i am going to eventually put gauges in where the vents used to be, but that wont be until i install air-ride in a few months.

The reason there is so much matt is because of the method i used to do it. I used masking tape to cover the vents and then put two layers of fiber glass matt and resin in from the back. Then i added more matt to the top which made it sit way higher than i really wanted it to. Then i pourd about a half inch of resin behind each one of them for extra strength. I had to use a grinder to break down the glass above the cd player since it was so thick.
I have the first coat of filler on it now, i will post finished pics in here when i am finished.

I just ordered the tv, it should be here in about a week or so. The only vent i ever use is the defrost vent up by the windshield, so missing these vents wont bother me any. I am shaving the one on the dash pad also and then having it tweeded black.
This mod doesn't really have any purpose right now except to make it look cleaner, but soon it will be were my gauges are mounted. The gauges will be Air, volts, and oil temp.
