Ok, I was stupid enough to buy white carpet for my car last summer. I've had it for almost a year and surprisingly its really clean for being white. The problem areas are all basicly in the drivers feet section. I'm able to get it pretty clean using Armor All Oxy carpet cleaner, but its not getting where I want it.
What are the best cleaners i could possibly use to get it back to bright white again. Should I try clorox and bleach it, or is that a bad idea? I need some input guys, I have shows coming up soon and I have a lot to do.
Test the bleach on a small, hidden area of the carpet. I think that and a little scrubbing will be your best bet.

I'm not sure how the bleach would affect it...is it ACC carpet, or what? I think the problem with bleach may be that it could possibly erode the protective matting on the underside of the carpet. I'd see if you have any trimmings laying around, or do it on a hidden area, but I'm not sure if it would spread from the hidden area... Good luck!

Yeah its ACC carpet, do you think diluting it may be a better alternative than using pure bleach? I just dont want to ruin my carpet.
Dillute it and test it on an area, say for instance the carpet that sets under your seats, if nothing bad happens then do it on the rest of the carpet.

screw that lol..get some white carpet dye in a rattle can and lightly mist the area....wont ever be able to tell it was dirty
and it wont harden the carpet or anything...easiest solution i can think of
really good idea, ill try that to if the bleach fails
have it wrapped when you get it clean, like they do couches and such
Do not use bleach.........I have a white shirt I used my work (i,m a server and u can imagine how much @!#$ gets on them).......and i used bleach religioulsy and it sucked because it turn my shirt yellow (tint of yellow)....and i evntually had to throw it away........ I would just say Oxy Clean and alittle elbow gresse.....if that does work try the home carpet cleaning products...i believe they are alittle heavier strength then car stuff.

Thats because you used too much. If you do it right and don't just soak it on one spot you should be safe. Thats how you get real dirty white socks clean as well as white-t's with sweat stains so I don't see why it would be a problem.
Also I wonder if steaming it may be an option?

i had a black paint stain on my stock brown carpet, and i used Tuff Stuff and it took it out with a little elbow grease, u may wanna try that, that is some of the best stuff ive found that actually works, that oxy clean crap didnt do anything for me, but thats my opinion
wanna see a dead body, @$^# around and you'll be it
Rent a steamer... That would be my first bet...
Then dilluted bleach, then other options...

I never thought of that, we actually have our own household carpet steamer, ill give that a try first, then ill try some of my other options.

Use BLEACH in the steamer... and NEVER use pure bleach unless you wanna turn it yellow... always dilute your bleach... should word wonders... also... use the toilet brush from the house to rub it in... it'll work in no time!
