Hello. I am going to purchase a pair of tenzo racing seats for my 97 z24. I was wondering how the belts would work. Since the sides of the seats curve up and out unlike the stock seats, will the belt not secure the person into the seat tighly? Sorry if I am not making much sense. Does anyone with aftermarket seats have any comments on how the stock belts work with the seats? Thanks.

the passenger seat is no problem, on the drivers side some seats you can bolt the buckle to it, and on some seats you gotta make a bracket and bolt it to the floor

i use stock belts with my racing seats....and my friend has Tenzo Rally seats in his Del Sol. and uses the stock belts no problems.
The only reason i haven't investest in belts is because i fold down my back seats for shows....and the belts would mearly get in the way
Cool thanks.

i think hes talking about how you sit back in the racing seat, for example the corbeau clubman's and the seatbelt may not actually touch your chest. i don't think this is a problem though.
How are people securing the seatbelt's latch to the seat?
It bolts to the stock slider, but the Tenzo sliders don't provide this option..
I emailed someone(Whoever Jason@A-plus went through for the GP) in regards the the Tenzo-to-Cavy bracket design, explaining this and also asked about/made recomendations in regards to overall height..
No response yet..

you can use stock seat but for the drivers seat buckle you have to mount it to the floor\
the belts and seats will work fine just like you stock seats
