hey i was wondering how you put a 5spd boot around a automatic shifter so it looks better and wont see the gear phrases and all. do u just pop off that peice around the gear phrases or what? thanks
i used a 5 speed piece and cut the thing down right away and it looks very slick, dont bother trying to make a boot work with the auto piece...waste of time...10 bucks for the 5 speed one with boot at any yard
i will post pics of mine next week, 99 2 door auto with a 01 5 speed consol
like everyone else said, just get the whole trim peice with the boot on it. really easy makes it look 10x better

Waist of 10 bux took me about 10 seconds to slap teh manual boot on my car with the auto consoul in there. Guess some peopel arent smart enough to jsut slap it on and push the consoul back on over the boot.

yeah ppl don't do it cause they're trying to look like a manual.. they just want a nice leather boot instead of that stupid looking rod that pops up a foot high to the knob.... of course i'm not speaking for myself.. i have a manual and love it, but if i had an auto i think i would put a bot as well

the reason i did it, was on a 99, you only get one cup holder, on a 01+ you get two... it saved my g/f's life, she was about to be killed over it,,,, J/K
will an 01+ lower part just swap into a 95, my compartment is gone so i may do thaty instead of make one, do u lose ur lighter plug then or what...fill me in i'm lost
no help here bro. i am pretty sure the 95 was diffrent from the99 i have and did the swap. just go to a junk yard and snag one, and find out...
