Plexi Glass Sub Box?

alright. there was someone on jbo that had an awesome set up. at least it caught my eye. it was silver and blue and lined up with the backseats perfectly so when you folded them down they looked like they belonged there.
(if someone could find it and post it that'd be great )

anyways, i want to build a box that will fit right behind the back seats. i'm going to put plexi glass over 'em though. how do you do this? help anyone?

was either his or it was mine. how are you wanting the plexi? are u wanting to have plexi on the front of the box? or are u wanting to have a plexi window flush with the opening and your box behind it? tell me wich way and i'll tell you of a couple of ways of doing it.

yes i think it was your setup... p.s. it's beautiful... lol.

i don't know. i was actually thinking about doing a remake of yours because i like it so much. but i was thinking about trying to fit the amp in there and flip the subs so the flame bottoms are showing. so really i think all i need is a flat piece of plexi glass.

do you buy plexi glass or make it or what? i'm completely clueless if you haven't found that one out. i'm good with measurements and wood and sealents though so the box will just take some hard work, that's all

thanks for your help in advance!

if your near indianapolis just come buy mine off me lol if not check in your local phone book for plastics companies, they genearlly sell lexan thast what u want to use, its stronger then plexi.

i cheated on my box. i wasnt sure how i wanted the fiberglass design to be so i built two seperate enclosures, angled them how i wanted, then just make the fiberglass frame work and attached it to the box. u could do the same sort of thing, you'd just have to push the subs out futher towards the edge of the car to give yourself some room to stick the amp in the middle. and youlle problaby have to angle the front edge of the box back more since u want to have the baskets showing.
