Raptor, or any other electrical gurus,
I've got all of my various LED products wired into the Cig Lighter Fuse (4 in all), and its starting to look real crappy in there.
What would I need to do to run ONE wire from the fusebox to a junction box of some kind that I could then run everything out of?
Also, is it bad for the car to have 4 different leads sticking into the cig lighter fuse?
No problems so far, but can't be a good thing...
By the way, I found these sweet rocker switches that I plan to form into a nice switch strip soon:

Nice price and I like these MUCH more than the old square kind. Don't even try to get switches from Radio Skack anymore, all of their stuff looks like it belongs in a WWII bomber...

If it's just a bunch of LEDs, it won't be too bad to have them drawing from the cig lighter. If worse comes to worst, you can replace it with a larger fuse, but 15 amps should be fine.
To run one wire... Uh, just run one wire to a junction box.
What I did was this: Ran a wire from the battery to a "master" switch. This switch provides power to my four random switches, allowing me to just hit one switch if I want to turn everything on at once.

Do I hook my stuff up to the top of that red X or to one of the bottom pieces of the red X?
Or is it somewhere behind the white square?
Thanks anyway - I see what you mean even though there is no pic.

why wire directly to the fuse box? I just tapped into the cig. Wires. behind the dash. Very easy and you cant see a thing
That cigarette lighter uses more power than you think. Leds use very, very little power. You could hook up 10 more and still be fine.

lol
I could hook up 725 red LEDs rated at 20mA of draw before popping that fuse from overdrawing current...

you can get a distribution block cut the cig wire completely out of the stock fuse panel and then you have several connections you can wire to and fuse separately.
