It looks like they were set on fire? Is that how it is supposed to turn out...? I've never fiberglassed before, so I haven't a clue what it looks like when done.
it looks like all you used was resin, no mat or cloth. if so, you'll want to add more layers with mat or cloth to strengthen it. otherwise, it looks pretty good.
LOL - not a good sign when someone says your project looks like its been set on fire!
Looks like you have the right idea, though!

I don't mean any offense by what I said, LOL
I was just curious?
yeah if that is just resin, chances are good it will break before u ever finish it. get some cloth or mat in there. fiberglass gets its strength from the cloth or mat, not from the resin itself. the resin is just a way of getting the cloth or mat stiff. and your at a good starting point, but cant really tell you how good your doing since the piece is just being started, ive seen many projects allot further along get trashed down the line.

theres only one layer of matt in there, i wanted some strength in it before i took it out, and the reason it may look a little charred is because i used a heat gun to speed the drying process
