Interior Painting Kind?

Hey,
Yes, I know there is 4000 posts on this, but I'm not asking how to do everything. I want to paint things like my bezel, my vents, etc. Does anyone have any recommendations on what kind of paint to use? Also, is there a type of clear coat that will look over it? Finally, is it better to take the parts off to paint them, or just paint them while the are on? Yes, I know that sounds dumb, but I'm just curious.

Thanks in advance

It's better(easier) to take them out. For paint, you could use Krylon Plastic Paint, if you want. Or else you could get it professionally done and be 100% happier with it, your call.

I wouldn't clear, as it's more of a protective feature, unless you put stuff on your dash often.

Krylon Fusion is a good paint to use for those parts, and it doesnt require a clear coat . and yes i find it a lot easier to take the parts off first, this way u dont overspray and u can get the entire pieces instead of just the fronts

Oh? So it comes like a spray paint? I figured it would come in a bottle so I'd have to use a small brush, lol. Shows what I really know about these things. I'll probably go pick up some of that today after work.

Do you recommend the same stuff to paint the clear HVAC knobs?
