sanding and painting might add some nice accents but theres a lot that can be done, how much of a budget are we talking?

Almost $400?? There is a lot you can do. Get reverse glow gauges, take the rubber off of your HVAC knobs and have them painted, get new chrome pedels, get interior LED's installed, get new floor mats, seat covers, etc.

1. Full Interior paint ($70 in paint and supplies)

2. Neon bar through interior ($40....4-5 bars worth)

3. Front and Back Seat covers ( NO, not the "NOS" etched covers or the ones that say "No Fear".....Just basic colored seat covers).......($25)

4. Floor mats ($15)

5. Headliner and rear deck wrapped in Vinyl ($20)

6. MISC - Shift knob, boot and switches for neon ($20)

7. $10 left for Lunch (all those paint fumes will make you hungry....it did for me) and a Disposable Camera so you can show us how everything turned out ( those fancy disposable cameras that let u copy the pictures to a computer)

Hope this sets u in the right direction....(prices may vary slightly)

for interior, go with the hvac knobs (remove vinyl) it's a good start. you can always put in colored or super white bulbs into your dome light. exterior go with some fog lights and remove the amber turn signal lens and/or corner lens. those are pretty cheap or even free mods. led's dont sound like a bad idea either, for their size they do put out a lot of light.
