My '05 Cavalier (like all others I am sure) has a padded dash. Is it possible to remove that padded cover and change the color by, say, staining it?
i'm such a noob, i spelled it wrong. it should be "dye"
i used vinyl dye and this is how mine turned out- i was real happy with the results

How durable is the dye job in regard to the elements (sun, cold, etc...)? Can it still be cleaned like the original dash and then armorall-ed?
I'll think of something cool eventually...

i spray painted mine with vinyl paint.. works great very even and stock looking btw i painted it white
