I've got in my possession a Black Cat Custom silver face gauge...
The question is HOW do you install it without removing the needles... Its actually impossible to get them through the 4 tiny holes.
Ive got a 2003 Cavy.

did u buy it off ebay? Cause i bought one of ebay and it was the same way. Its most likely made wrong. I think the neddles base should be able to fit through the holes in the gauge face. If they dont complain.

ok, you wanna set the needles to 45 degrees. then line it up and slide it over the needles all at the same time. it took me about 5 mins. to line it all up right. i didnt think there was anyway to do it correctly, but around 45 degrees works well. then once they are on, and back in the gauge pod, for wiring, the black wire goes to any ground. i used the ground on the cig lighter. the red wire(or power wire) goes to the brown wire to the left of the column that goes to the stick with the light functions/turn signals.

huh i dont have a gauge overlay. its a complete replacement of the 1 we have in our car. So I have to remove the old face gauge and fix the new 1. But for that im 100% sure I need to remove the needles.
Anyway im gonna get it checked out cuse I only have 3 needles out of 4 working and there really not reliable.
