What goes into moving the HVAC to say the glove box compartment? How to take it apart and so on.

just cut the wires and extend them, and then route them into the glove box plug them all back up and your done.... theres not enough room to fit a cd player there tho, i tried that the other day.

I thought someone said the wires were long enough to reach the glovebox since they come from that area?
They could be, i didnt go any further once i realized that my flipout wasn't going to fit there. The cd player wires reach into the gb, so i guess the hvac ones would also. It only takes like 10 minutes to try, so give it a shot and if it doesnt work, then just extend the wires. Even if you have to extend the wires, you should be able to have it done in like 20 minutes.
they ar long enough but you must take apart the dash in order for it to reach, i cant remember if it will reach with the bottom part of the dash in stil or not, but it is def long enough, dont waste your time cutting them, just keep takin the dash apart until it reaches (30 min job Max.) hope this helps, later

I moved mine to under the cd player. on top of the console. the wires and hoses were just long enought to bring it there.
So anyone know if i need to take the bottom part of the dash out to get at the wires and stuff? Hope not.
all you got to do is take the top of the dash off and if it doesnt reach yet then you need to take the bottom half off, either way it dont take that long to take the entire dash out anyway, hope this helps, later

well from stripping my interior the easiest way will be to pull the entire dash out
just gotta pull your steering wheel in the process which wasnt as hard to do as i thought it would
and yes the wires are plenty long enough
