Could use a little help on this one......I recently bought the rear seat RK sub box.....I have Corbeau CR1 seats with 4 point harnesses.......I bolted down the shoulder part of the harness to the stock bolts & nuts underneath the backseat....The belts come through the stock cut-outs in the rear seat....Since this part is now gonna be covered by the speaker box.....where do i connect the other two parts of my seat-belt harnesses ??? Has anyone else done this ???? Maybe put in a roll-cage ??? I need to find a place to mount the harnesses now.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Aaron
A rear roll cage would do fine for that. I think they run about 500-800 bucks.
Do you have a picture of how you have these harnesses mounted in the back of the car. Im looking into doing something like that. Is it legal also?
I dont think that a bar there would work. Im almost sure most of us have our seats leaned back kinda far. My head rest is just about lined up with the upper seatbelt guide. It might be to close to the seat to work also. Im just guessing though.
Dont see any for the cavalier, they dont have a section up.
ive actually been talking with dennis over at hardbar and they seem to have a good product, i think here in a week or two he's going to send me one and i'm going to check it out and see if its a quality product and i might be running a group purchase for it, they have them in aluminum and they are doing the carbon fiber bars as well.
