ive heard of people just covering it in resin with good results. just make sure it holds its shape as it dries. thats the key to making it work

When I did mine, I left the headliner in the car, Coated it with Resin, when it was hard. Took it out then laid fiberglass matt/cloth on it, I think that just the resin wasnt strong enough. It kept its shape. I am still sanding the damn thing tho, its huge and takes forever. good luck

if u dont use any cloth youlle start cracking the headliner at the edges from moving it around and getting it back in the car, i'd definately do 1 layer of cloth at least.

no problem. its coming from experience, i thought i could get by with just the resin, but it started crackin on me after being in the car a few weeks, luckily i hadnt gotten it painted yet.
