no point in putting tv's in your doors... not like anyone can watch them newayz... put tv's in your visors and then run a flip down in the back... works nicely

big popppa's pics prove otherwise, if u spend allot of time at shows, tvs and game systems are well worthe the investment.

yea i did it for show purposes. If i want i have another t.v in the radio bezel anyways .

The t.vs in the doors used to be in my sunvisors, but everyone's got them there, so last year i took them out and moved them.

But my main purpose for the t.v in the doors is for shows. It isn't "as common" and it's a different look than some of the other cars. I just did it to be a bit different, that is all.

Dont put them in the doors.. Thats just stupid. Visors or dash is the best place.

jbody customs~Chris Leight: where are you going to put your HVAC? It is possible to fit a 7" t.v and a headunit (I have this...well had that.)...

Scotty B: well to some people it is just stupid, but to others it is a great show stopper at car shows...I get people looking at the doors more than anything on the car. People love seeing a t.v in the door panel at shows.

around here it seems just as common to have them in the doors as the visors

big papa im prob gonna relocate it to the glove box, but how much glassing will i have to do to get the 7" monitor to fit???

Re: TV's in doors?

not that much glassing really, cut out most of the bezel so the tv fits, and fiberglass any areas to make a nice flush finish...be careful, the fiberglass wont want to stick to the plastic...so drill some holes all around the areas your going to glass...even put some fiberglass on the back side to sandwich the fiberglass in place so it doesnt peel off.

big papa i also see that in your pics your headunit is where the vents use to be and the monitor takes up the whole dash part....

if i mount the monitor high enough up in the dash part will there be enough clearance for the headunit below it???

Just waiting for the Fusor applicator gun from a friend so I can adhere everything and then start glassing.

All you have to do is run A/V wires and a 12V wire to the door.
