who would be interested in him making a cf bezel for aftermarket radios that surrounds the entire radio and goes down and covers up the slot underneath, I might be the only one but i think that slot is stupid and i don't use it, im just wondering who would like to get one, i've asked Titus but he needs pictures of what an aftermarket radio looks like inside a cavalier. If you have any pics please post them for him.

Were did u guys buy this piece from. Did the place that installed your cd player provide this piece? I might just go check out the local best buy and see if they have it. That way I can see if I can make something for it.

yes titus when they install your headunit, they install it w/ a black like bezel i guess you would call it, just ask him to see what it looks like im almost positive you could do it, it probably be easier than a stock radio because theres no cut outs for buttons.

OK well I'm going over to best buy tommorow. I'll see what I can do.

Ok well I went to best buy and this is what they gave me. On it it says fits all 00-05 cavaliers. Anyways here are the pictures of what I came up with. Im not sure if this is the same kit as uiguy because his looks a little different. Im not sure if there are more then one kits for our cars so the best thing to do is to check and see if your kit looks like this. The install kit came with two trim rings that go around the cd player. The carbon fiber overlays work for both. Please ask me any questions that you might have. There are two overlays. One is for the top part of the piece and another for the bottom. The kit came with a slot under the cd player but I covered it up. I did this so more carbon fiber can be used and I think it looks better like this. I did not fill the slot with anything. I just made the overlay go right over the slot. If these go for sale and people buy them, please don't press hard on the slot part of the overlay because it might colapse in. It is very strong but if pressed hard enough it will colapse. But this would probably only happen if someone did it intentionally. I also want to know what you guys think is a good price for this product. As soon as I figure out a price it will be on the site and ready to order. Thanks for the great idea guys. I hope you like it.

I don't really know how much carbon fiber costs or how much work you have to put into making those, but if you come up with a price I'll save to buy one- might be a while, just bought Lambo doors, but some day........

I was thinking if your into making new things the panel in my car that the power window buttons are on in the center console about say 3"x2" (just a guess) would look really good cf. Just an idea ... dont have a picture of it but someone must.

I can try to do both. The problem is that I don't have a sunroof and I don't have power windows either. SO I will need to find a car that does. I will see what I can come up with.

I'm also a man that makes his own CF parts, but dude come one put the CF in one way. It looks dumb to have your HVAC panel different from the radio. I'm one that like to be kinda picky about my weave.
