Cleaning Materials (The whole shabanG)

Okay, i recently have ran out of all my cleaning materials for the interior of my car. I wasn't statisfied with the stuff i had laying around the house. I would like some opinions on what you guys use in your cars... for vinyl (dash), plastics (doors) and center consol, carpet (this is a biggy very dirty), seat upolstery, and window cleaners

Any input would rock my socks.. thanks

I'm a big fan of everything ArmorAll makes (except the tire shine, for which I use Maguire's).

I use ArmorAll wipes for all of the dash and plastic interior pieces, then hit the engine hoses, all rubber trim, the door handles and XM antenna. My car has so many layers of AA that the sun will never touch me!

They also have 2 new gel products to keep you from having to ever use a bucket again - shaved a ton of time off the washing. The Wax and Dry gel is awesome - makes the car dry faster and leaves a nice even shine.

If you want your interior to stay new, you can't go wrong with AA!

Also, Nanowax by Eagle One is a good product.

Personally, I dont like any Armor All products because they always leave a greasey residue.

This is what I'd suggest:

Vinyl/plastic - Meguiars

Glass - Invisible Glass works ok, but it seemed to streak on me a bit, as does Eagle One 20/20. Trouble Free (purple can) at Advance worked really great the one time I used it.. though it smells horrible (it's got codliver oil in it)

Carpet/Upholstery - I used this stuff made by Turtle Wax for carpet and upholstery. I can't remember the name of it, but it's a yellow can with a brush on the end and it has "Odor X" in it, which does wonders for bad smells in your car (I had cat piss in mine.. that stuff took it right out). Runs about $4 or $5 a can, but you can do your intire interior with just one can. I sprayed down my back seat, both front seats (the WHOLE seat, not just the part you sit in), the carpet (front and back), the floor mats and the 'carpet' in the arm rests on the doors. Stuff works great.. just follow the directions and you'll be set

I have...

Meguiars NXT and Turtle Wax for Vinyl/Plastic
Armor All and Turtle Wax for carpet/seats
Armor All Wipes (which suck ass!) for the windows

I love the Meguiars NXT for my vinyl/plastic. It works wonders. I prefer the Armor All over the Turtle Wax for the carpet (except it doesn't come with the scrubber on it like the Turtle Wax does). And as for the windows, I have yet to use anything I'm satisfied with.

To clean all the plastic pieces and the dash I use Mothers Preserves Protectant. To clean the carpet, the seats and all other upholstery I use Mothers Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner. As far as glass cleaners go, I have yet to find one that doesn't leave streaks. Personally I really like the Mothers products because they all work very well and they smell great as well.

I use a Microfiber cloth and "invisible glass" for my windows. I find the microfiber cloth usually leaves the glass streak free and the are nice and soft.

I like AA myself but I do agree it leaves a greesy feel
