Carbon fiber
Tuesday, May 10, 2005 4:28 PM
I am getting ready to purchase myself some carbon fiber material and I am wondering which epoxy resin should I go with? Should I go with the thin or the thick epoxy resin? & I am assuming the medium epoxy hardener would be best to work with?
Also, about how much resin would I need per yard of carbon fiber?
**Thanks**

When you work with carbon fiber, for the best weight:strength ratio you should be using equal weights of fiber and resin.

So 1lb of fiber for 1lb of resin. Make sense?
