Power Window Switch

Is it possible to use an aftermarket power window kit and hook them up to a set of stock switchs?
I just don't know what the connections to the to stock switch are like.

Any help would be great

I don't know 100% but I'd imagine that the switches are just regular switches, I don't see why not.

I believe if memory serves me right, there is an illumination wire, power wire, ground, and then the 2 sets of outputs for the motors. The outputs to the motor at rest are grounded, and when you switch them goto +12V. I was able to goto partsource and get the wiring schematic from them for the stock power window switch.

You can wire the whole setup through relays (Like I did, they move much faster this way) and pretty much you can connect whatever aftermarket kit you want. Just pick up 4 standard 12V relays (or grab them from a wreckers whichever) and connect:

all 87's to 12V
all 87a's to ground
either 86 or 85 to ground
output to motors to 30

then on the other 85 or 86 connect your stock switch outputs, when you press a switch it sends 12V down the line, triggers one relay which clicks over to +12V causing the motor to move.

It works alot like the setup used for adding power door locks, just with windows instead. It's not that tough really, just play around with it and I'm sure you'll figure it out. If you need more help let me know, I'll try to give better details
