Do you guys think seat covers are tacky? I'm not talking about the ones with flames on them like you get at AutoZone, but good ones that you find at the better car websites.
I want to cover the seats in my 03 Cav instead of getting new ones because I don't want to deal with the install, and I also don't want to lose any seat function (I heard the racing seats do not fold forward, etc)
However, if it is considered rice or cheesy, I will go ahead and go the other way.
Just looking for any input.
Thanks.

CoverKing Best seat covers around, and they oughta be, at $400 for a full car!!!
they make racing seats that fold forward and back, also if you dont cheap out, the installation on a good seat and braket requires a whole 8 bolts and 10 minutes of time. reason people have installation troubles is because they cheap out and dont buy the brackets.
as for seat covers they can look nice if you go with something like above, they wont look as good as new seats or reapulstered seats. but if its just a daily driver i wouldnt worry about it, if you want to take your car to car shows, i wouldn't do covers.

Yeah I'm mix and matching. I got front racing buckets, but I'm gonna get a black cover for my rear bench, or maybe use Fabric Dye on it.
I'll definitely look into that at a later date, in fact, one of the guys I work with has a relative at an upholstery shop and can get me a good deal. But, for now, I'm just looking to get it to match everything, instead of having all this black in my car, and a gray seat. I'm actually saving up for my wheels and tires right now, and I'll need to get my body kit touched up after I finish repairs, so it'll probably be near the end of summer before I get to reupholstery. Thanks for the input though, it'll get done, eventually, lol.
