Steering Wheel start
Tuesday, May 17, 2005 12:31 PM
Ive been searching through the posts but I just want to make sure I had everything straight before I go and remove everything. So, all i need is a hub adaptor and the wheel itself besides the tools right? Also, does it matter what brand wheel and adaptor I use?, Im thinking of using a Grant wheel and ive noticed that the momo adaptor seems to be the choice, can u tell me the part number for my fire, its a 2001 SE. thx

The hub has to have the same number of holes as the wheel, i believe momo is 5 hole. if your stearing wheel is 5 hole then it shuld work.

The Grant hubs and wheels are five holes and the MOMO hubs and wheels are 6 holes, as well as the sparco wheels are 6 holes. Both have a installation kit even though they say they don't because of the airbags but the airbag regulation has not been in place for atleast a year. I have a momo hub and sparco steering wheel. I will be posting pics on cardomain of mine very soon.
