Interior....nearing completion!!! (pics)

Well, I'm now down to three things left on my interior.... Painting the plastic part of the dash, which I'll need some time to pull that out and get that done; seat covers/dye for rear seats, and paint the rear inner quarterpanel things..... on to the pics

That would be me working on painting part of my door panels. Gotta love that ghetto paint gun.....

That is the finished door panels, no more white, which did look quite tacky....

And the dash is no longer graphite.... Hooray for black!!!!! I'll get more pics when I get everything in the car......

Comments please?

I'm not an idiot.... I take a lot of pride in my rattlecan jobs.... Yes, primer, after sanding and prep.... followed by some paint....then some more paint.... then a clear coat..... Just because I don't have a gun..YET... doesn't mean my painting sucks not getting defensive, just saying, I know how to paint.

Looks fine. What kind of material did you cover the cloth area on the doors with...i's kinda hard to tell. How did you paint the arm rest or was it dye you used?

I am also wondering about what you used for the armrest portion

okay, last post for the month, so I'll make it a good one.

First off, for the cloth part, I bought some black velvet at my local Wal-Mart. I used 3M spray carpet adhesive on the portion where the speakers are located, and I wrapped the larger part, and just used a hot glue gun to stick it. For the armrests, I used Dupli-Color Vinyl and Fabric dye. Just clean it, then prep it with alcohol and it's ready to be dyed.

Yeah, I took the respirator off shortly after that pic, because it's not too comfortable, but I think I might have gotten a little bit tipsy off the fumes. Oh well. I wish My garage was bigger, or just dedicated solely to working on cars. It's technically a wood shop, but I use it for all my projects, due to a lack of any other area, so we now use it for both, as well as lawn mower storage. Not much room to move around when I put my car in to change oil or what have you.

Well folks, this is my last post until GME network gets my money order for premium membership so, later on my friends.
