OK, I got a set of saturn Ion seats for cheap , i knew they wouldnt fit perfectly ....my question is...is there a way to remove the track and mounting stuff from my cavi seats and put them on the Ion seats?
there's 4 bolts holding the sliders to the underside of the stock seats. take those off and fit them up.

already told you. take the seat brackets off your stock seats and bolt them up to the ion seats. the bottoms of the ion seats should be about the same size, so the mounting brackets from your stock seats should work.
no... the mounting points are nowhere close, if it were that easy id be done by now...plus the floor mounts need to be moved in
