Well im pretty sure the only option with a Tan Interior is to match it with Black.
As u might have seen, I put a black carpet in on the weekend, and it really makes the black I already have stand out reallllly well.
I wanna do the headliner black this weekend. And as for the door bezels, they're in the room beside me drying (black). What do you guys think i should do next ?
And if i was to do the door, or wrap the padding.....id have to figure out how to separate the door panels without breakin sumthin.
Go to the image manipulation forum and see if someone can photo shop your preferred color combinations into ur interior
it'll look good..I just sanded and painted my dash black this past weekend...my intereor is the EXACT tan as yours..I have an 01 sunfire....startin to look good
Im kinda weary of painting the dash mat black. Seems so drastic. Have you taken pics ? Im tryin to find a pic of the guy with the green convertible Fire. He had prolly one of the best interiors id seen.
I painted my door bezels black and it just didnt look right at all. I want to do what he did and get a can of vinyl dye to match the factory graphite color , or else get some more of the factory graphite pieces.
Yea..it's a bit drastic,I've had the car for just bout a year...and I was just gettin used to the tan...but I like it...I'm goin to do my center console this weekend..when I get everything done I will take pics...it took me 3 hours to sand down my dash.
^^^^^ Thanks man. ^^^^^
I got your E-mail just trying to get some new shots of the interior. I changed out the seats for these...
I also changed the radio bezel out for a stock graphite. I'll try to get some new shots up tonight or tomorrow...

ya that would look good. Ive decided im not gonna do it black anymore. Rather im gonna do it the graphite color. It seems alot darker when its with the tan.
Im always so nervous im gonna screw up when painting big things like the doors but i guess i gotta. I really wanna wrap the carpeted/tweed parts in vinyl but i have no idea how to get the panels apart without breaking something. Anyone do photshop btw ?
the graphite should look good too....yea..I was nervous of screwin summin up too...the only part I messed up was that plastic peice that goes between the dash and the windsheild....it ran alot...so I gotta re-do it....but prolly tomorrow I"m takin the center console we'll see how that one works out...haha.the doors...I have no idea how I'm gonna do that...that'll be fun.
Here are a few I took this morning before it started raining...
I also replaced the tan seatbelts with graphite ones. And put in a Momo steering wheel...

I really want to do something with the door. Is your finish on yours glossy at all ? i want it to look like its stock.
How did u take apart your door panels and put them back together ??
I took a piece of the stock interior in (both tan and graphite) and had my paint supplier color match them. They mixed about a pint and a half of each. The Tan I gave a coat of Matte clear to keep it flat looking like stock. The Graphite i gave a coat of semi-gloss clear to give it a little shine but not much...

so basically everything is painted one way or another ?
And what about the doors...how to take them apart and reassemble
Didn't paint the dash pad, Arm rests, or vents...
