if i buy a cluster from a 98-99 with a digital odo. that is an AUTO and replace my 99 digital odo 5speed cluster with it... will it work... i plan on buying white face guages that dont have the PRND321 wont that work....

Yes, it will work, but the mileage will be incorrect.

or make note in the owners manual how many miles were on the old cluster the day u changed it, and how many miles were on the new cluster the day you swaped it in.

I believe that is the proper way to do it.
