Hey, I have a 2000 cavalier, and I'm interested in changing out the dome light. There are two lights where I'm able to push a button and they come on, the third one is the larger one that comes on when I open the door (or turn it on).
Anyways, now that I sound like a complete noob, I'll ask my question. I found, at autozone, a 7 color LED dome light that changes between colors when turned on. it would be friggin awesome to have this, i think. I also want to switch out the lights that come on with the touch of a button with some blue LED's.
My question here is this: Does anyone know the bulb # or specific wattage that I'm supposed to get for these things? Any help would be much appreciated. thanks!
If you just want the blue color, it would be a whole lot easier to just paint the plastic w. stained glass paint. I did that on my dome lights and on the rear lights(red) and it looks good at night....I like it. It took all of 5 minutes, and some time to let the paint dry. Just another option for ya. As for the voltage and such--check the manual, Haynes, or on the connecter that connects the wires to the bulb. Also, it might be on the bulb too.

Ban low-performance cars, not high-performance ones.
Voltage = 12v
Wattage = The bulb you take out will say
