i have searched and some people say 3m #77 is good but ive read other posts saying its bad. Im leaning towords getting 3m 08090 vinyl glue and was wondering if that would stick to plastic well... if anyone could help out that would rock!

Agreed ^. I also used the Select Products adhesives and they too give way when the car sits in the sun.

to tell you the truth i work at an upholstery supply shop, the best thing to use is a glue called hybond they sell it in a gallon . you can use a paint brush to apply it and that will be the best thing to use. the 3m products or other spray glues won't work cause it can not stand heat...you can get glue at local upholstery supply shop...good luck
hmmm hybond huh? ill go check out some local shops and see if i can pick some up.... thanks for the ideas!
