MPH cluster swap

Hi,

1. I was planning to swap a 98 Z24 cluster (with Tach of course) on my 96 car, and the metric is on MPH... Currently mine is in KPH... Do I need to make something to make it work showing the right speed or it has a speed sensor (or something like that)?

Thanx!!

There's no sensor or anything in the cluster. All that's done in the cluster itself is the needle points where the needle needs to point. You're okay for that...

I'm not sure about the Odometer though. Especially since some 98s have the digital one.
