home depot sells the resin by the gallon. it's cheaper in the long run to buy it in larger quantities.
depending on how much your glassing which probably aint much since your asking where to get it autozone by the gal. and if your doing alot find a roofer and get it by the 5 gal. bucket
How do you learn to fiberglass, I have a lot of things i want done but i don't have the thinking to do it and i don't know anyone who dose
just try small things first then progress. you have to make sure that you take your time.

also, the cans have directions, and if you try the bondo crap to start with, it comes with picturised directions on how to do minor repairs....

The thing with carbon fiber is, you have to bake it, at like 400 F for like 8 hours, and I don't know where you would buy the suplies.
try car quests that carries paint supplies, they have good fiberglass and fillers or us composites.com
as for carbon fiber, learn how to fiberglass first, carbon fiber is allot more expensive then just fiberglassing. so waste the cheap stuff first. most people starting out are just wrapping pieces in carbon fiber not actually making new pieces. for just wrapping pieces its not quite as hard and doesnt need to be baked since its just for appearance. and if your wanting to make actual structural types of cf pieces, i would go to the professisonals.
