Ok here's the deal, I was preparing my car for a weekend of intensive drag and decide to do some weightlightening by getting the rear seats out and also getting rid of the ugly child seatbelt. First thing I realized is that this was ALSO the seatbelt for the rear center passenger
. I know it was a stupid thing to do, but I'll go to the junkyard and get a belt that attach the hip (I don't know if it have a name but you know what I'm talking about). Once this is done, I plan on getting the original seatbelt mechanism out and get rid of the holes that will remain. I was woundering if fiberglass would be a good idea to make the rear "dash". I saw what Blue Splash did with his dash and I found it awesome
If it can be done how hard is it and how much do you think it can cost??? If I do that I'll probably let holes for the speakers, so when I'll get aftermarket one it will already be there. I think that all I had to ask for the moment... Thanks
By rear "dash" I meant this part
I finnaly got a rear center seatbelt from a 95 cavy, that will look brand new once it will be cleaned.
You are wanting to glass and paint the rear dash...
I think thats an awesome idea...
I may have to use that idea, I'll give you $2.00 for feeding my tired brain.
you could just rewrap the dash part in vinyl, leather.....carpet...you get the idea
thats what i did
