Ok, last cluster question, honest. Would the cluster from a 3 speed work in a 4 speed auto (sunfire to sunfire). And what would the differences be if any.
on the 95-99 you will be missing the first gear position when using the 3spd cluster in a 4spd
3spd = 4spd
3 = D
2 = 3
1 = 2

I figured that would happen. so the cluster will work? Not that I ever do, but would I still be able to shift into first, but just not see the light?
