have you had any trouble with it
trust me its not really worth it.. you'll need alot of fiberglass.. consider at least a gallon.. and about 2 or 3 bags of mat... not a fun project, but will look good if you take your time to do it.. i did mine and it came out like crap... but i just need to go back and do it again and it will come out better, but unless you know what your doing with fiberglass, i wouldnt bother...

Actually, its not that hard.
THis is my plan for mine
Glue in the plastic 6x9 ring on the headliner as if i were mounting 6x9s.
Take it all out, fiberglas around the rings, so its raised up a little, use fiberglass resin to pour onto the rear carpet part, sand it all down and paint.
IF its cloth, you can just use resin , only need to use fiberglass cloth if you are going to change the shape of it.
My first experience with fiberglass, i didnt really pay attention to how i was laying cloth, and overlapped a bunch of pieces, bad mistake, cause it doesnt sit even, and it sands down to have holes, better to lay 2 layers of cloth and just edge them up to each other.

So far I put resin over the carpet, and one layer of glass. No problems at all. I am gonna let it dry and see how it fits in the car. If it still has room to grow, I will probably add more layers to it...Jay
