Got mine from Lotek yesterday in graphite, seems easy enough to attach to the pillar.
BUT, seems to me that there will be no room to run the wires since it attaches directly to the pillar itself. Are you supposed to leave a little extra space to run the wiring? And then I assume run it behind the dash and through the rubber grommet in the firewall?
I'm wiring the illumination part of them to my existing Speedhut gauges using a special splitter adaptor they sell.
Also, how thick are the wires that go to the various engine components? I'm getting mine from Speedhut - hopefully the size is fairly universal.

Is it a full replacement or does it attach to your existing pillar? There should be room enough to run the wires, most of them are pretty small. That is how I ran mine was to the bottom of the pillar, behind the dash then through the rubber in the firewall then taped and used black wire loom to make everything look nice and neat and stock.
Here's what I did:
Lined up the pillar with the stock pillar while it was in the car, then marked the holes for the mounting screws.
Then I pulled the A-pillar out and drilled a 3/8ths inch hole for the wires to come through behind the middle gauge area.
I installed and wired my gauges, pulled all the wires through that hole, and ran it to the places they needed to go. You can't tell where the wires are at all, and really don't notice the stock pillar sitting there if you don't look real hard.
The pillar was made as a stock replacement, but unfortunately it does not include all the trim (the piece that goes down the door by the dash), and I didn't want to be without that piece. It was meaint to screw to the metal behind the pillar and you wouldn't use your stock one. Most still attach it to the stock one for the same reason I did it.

Shifted, you and I must think alike, becuase I was thinking yesterday that I should drill a 1/2" hole in the original (looks like more room behind that one) and lay the new one over it.

How hard is it to hook up a Voltmeter, Air/Gas Meter, and Oil Temp? Should I take it to a performance shop for the hook-ups? I know my way around, but not 100%

voltmeter is east just hook it to a 12v source batt, alt etc. any good 12v supply. and the air/fule is a 3 wire hook up power, ground and sensor wire. Not sure about the oil temp. should be a hot ground and sensor wire for that one too. And there will be a pwer terminal for the light which you would run to a source that only gets 12v when the ignition is on.
