I seen some guy the other weekend with wire loom in his engine bay, and it looked like chrome wire loom, it looked pretty sweet, and i'd think it would go well with my scheme. does anyone have this, where did you get it from? Thanks

I saw that the chrome wire looms has tendency to crack and peel.......I had the blue wire looms and they caused me no problems at all....except when one fell and landed on my SS header. boy, did that smell for weeks!

Auto zone and pepboys both sell the chrome loom.

Yeah I was thinking the Chrome loom had to have some kind of endurance issues.

Thanks steve for the website. I'm probably gonna order some.

By the way, your hood magnets and engine cap decals are awesome, I think they really add to my engine bay. thanks again for everything

The only chrome loom Ive ever seen (and used) is rated for heat (like 500 degrees) and therefor may be used around hot engine areas and exhaust.

I was thinking about using chrome wire loom in my engine since they don't make it in silver, but after thinking long and hard about it I decided it might look kind of cheesy. So I decided to go back to using black instead. That's just my opinion though. I'm sure it will look good in your car.

STLWACO- The stuff you saw is probably the same stuff I got. I purchased it from an indepeendent auto store up here. It's plastic on the inside, but has a metallic outside and can withstand high temperatures, that is why it is expensive.
